Creation of development tools, applications, and new communication protocols that fuel the development of Internet of Things (IoT) future networks.
研究紹介(About my Research)
Creation and study of communication protocols used in the Internet of Things (IoT). Communication devices used in IoT typically include microcontrollers (MCU) with severe memory and energy contains ( battery operated). The development of communication protocols for these devices is typically slow and complicated for a wide range of reasons: Incompatibilities among manufacturers, lack of standardization in some aspects, and limited development tools and documentation resources. In this research, I address some of these limitations by developing innovative development tools and communication protocols. A main part of my research considers the development of innovative development interfaces for network simulations ( i.e. virtual reality interfaces) and the mantainance and development of modules for the popular ns-3 network simulator.
