私は大阪大学歯学部を卒業後、卒後臨床研修を経て、5年間愛知県・月星歯科クリニックにて歯科診療に従事した後、広島大学大学院博士課程（歯科矯正学）に入学し博士号を取得いたしました。月星歯科クリニックでは主に保険診療全般、特に外傷歯・自家歯牙移植の分野に興味を持ち日々の臨床に向き合ってきました。大学院では矯正歯科の診療に従事する一方、研究では鎖骨頭蓋異形成症の疾患モデルマウスを用い、更に別のゲノム編集マウスと掛け合わせ作製した複合変異マウスの骨形態計測や表現型の解析に取り組んできました。

臨床では一般歯科の知識・手技も併せ持つ矯正歯科医であることが自身の強みだと思っております。そして日々診療に取り組みながら、臨床医としての観点を併せ持った研究者として今後も臨床と研究の橋渡しをしていきたいと思っております。

After graduating from the School of Dentistry at Osaka University and completing my clinical residency, I worked at Tsukaboshi Dental Clinic in Aichi Prefecture for five years before entering the doctoral program in Orthodontics at Hiroshima University Graduate School, where I earned my Ph.D. At Tsukaboshi Dental Clinic, I was engaged in general dentistry covered by insurance, with a particular clinical focus on dental trauma and autotransplantation. During my doctoral studies, alongside providing orthodontic treatment, I focused my research on bone morphometry and phenotypic analysis of compound mutant mice, which were generated by crossing a model mouse for cleidocranial dysplasia with another genome-edited mouse line.

My clinical strength lies in being an orthodontist who also possesses background knowledge and practical skills in general dentistry. By integrating my clinical perspective with research, I aim to continue bridging the gap between clinical practice and dental research in my ongoing career.
